Hi Jaana & co!
Nowadays I am definitely the most stylish Basenji in Espoo. Don't you think? Finally the degrees fell under zero and I got to wear my own tailor-made Janutex Snow Suit with army print. I have also a brown jacket, which has been wore already since Autumn 2006. It has endured all kinds of sports and it fits perfectly.
And now, when the weather is freezing my mommy dresses me also to my armyprint fleecesuit. It is so warm and cool looking. We are so alike, when my mommy is also wearing her army pants on. Thank you Jaana a lot!

At the beginning of December I ordered the Snow Suit for my German Shepherd Dog. It was tailor made. I wanted the back legs to be with teddy lining and the rest of the suit is made with quilted lining. This was because the dog has the arthrosis in the other back legs knee.
Now we have photographed the Happy Customer. He likes to go outdoor again even though the weather is freezing, because the leg doesn't hurt anymore. We have also gained a lot of positive attention, when going outdoor. All the people are saying our German Shepherd to be so cute with his new Snow Suit.

SWEDISH VALLHUND VIIVI
Miniature Poodle Enya & Swedish Vallhund Viivi wear eagerly their new custom made Snow Coats. When the weather is rainy and muddy, Enya likes to go outdoor with her custom made rainsuit and when it gets colder she wears her Snow Coat. When you have the right outfit for your dogs it really helps with taking care of the dogs fur. Viivi doesn't need a jacket, when going outdoor during the winter, but it helps to keep her warm, when we are training agility. In between the training sessions the muscles will be kept warm with the help of the jacket and this reduces the possible muscle injuries. We have also bought a jacket for our Kelpie Vimma for the freezing weather and also for the agility. We have also liked the cooling Doggie Towels during the summer heat, these keeps your dog cool in Dog Shows, in obedience- and in agility competitions.

Guess what it is like to live in the middle of the forest with two Coton de Tulear girls?
No problem this year, as together with Jaana we managed to come up with a solution... FOREST SUITS!
The material is the same that is used for instance in she shirts of the football players, full of little holes, cool, and such as nothing sticks to it. So forest here we come!
We are 100% satisfied with the suits. When we come home, take off the suits and put them to soak for a wash, it is just unbelievable... the water looks like mud. So much better it is on the suit,than it would be on the fur.

Hi!
I am a boxer boy and my name is Roope. At the moment I am one year old and I want to say a huge thank you to Jaana/Janutex, because thanks to her I have kept myself warm and well-covered during this winter's really cold weather.
It was just an ordinary day during last autumn, when my mistress suddenly started to fuss around me with a strange band. She told that it was a measuring tape with which she was taking my exact measurements. "You will be grateful to me, when the winter comes", she said to me. Measuring was a lot of fun, especially when at the same time I got to eat delicious ham.
A few weeks later me and my mistress walked to the nearest post office. The package we picked out was sent for me!! I received a brand new wintersuit of dark-blue colour. It was really easy to dress and it felt good. I was told that the fabric was of extra strong material so that it can endure also my hard usage. I can also play with the suit and ofcourse make the everyday walks with it. The pantlegs have really handy velcro-tape closures and they keep the pantlegs well in place. Jaana Puolakka left just the right amount of room for my growing in it too, for my muscles you see. It will fit me also for the winters to come.
And boy, have we used the suit. And I have received a lot of compliments too. So my mistress was right, I am not feeling cold at all and we can make long walks during the freezing cold too.
So a really big thank you for Janutex and I really recommend this for all the other boxers too.

Italian Greyhoudn Baby came to me about a month ago. When the weather got colder I wondered what to do with the 4 months old puppy.In the Pet Store they adviced that the first winter we could manage with baby clothing. I tried it, but it was really hard to dress the dog and it didn't keep her warm. I heard Janutex from the Italian Greyhound web-page and when I got to the ordersheet I immediatelly ordered a proper wintersuit for Baby for the winter.
It is a real blessing for this cold winter. Dressing is easy and it keeps Baby really warm. Baby loves to wear it! :) Ordering was really easy with the order-sheet. And when I received the winter-suit I noticed that the suit is of best quality.

Here are our daughters posing in their new Janutex outfits.
The girls are only a year old, but in spite of their young age, they have quite a number of different clothes. Before we have worn two standard and two tailor-made outfits, bought from another place, but after receiving these Janutex clothes, I know that I won't wear the older clothes no more. They are two difficult to dress, they cause tangles, they are too open both from the back and from the stomach.
Before making the clothes we had long conversations with Jaana for what the outfits should be like in order to fullfill all the coton needs. The result was totally amazing. The suits are totally fitting.
The tangle-making elastic bands have been excluded, the collar has enough height to cover the hair in the chest and the paws have enough height so that only the tip of the toas are visible. The dressing is really handy thanks to the velcro-tape closure. There is enough room for the hairs and under the zipper there is a wide band, so that the zipping can be done without any fear of hairs getting jammed. The Panther-print is fabulous, it can be easily spotted in the dark terrain as well as in the snow.
Fleecesuits are just as good. We have just test-used these and they are wonderful.
Thank you Jaana for really good clothes, I will recommend these for all the Coton de Tulears.

Three years ago we purchased a tailor-made coat for Pedro, because Pedro had hotspots in his buttocks in the autumn-time. And indeed Pedro has worn the coat in the rainy weather.
A couple of years ago we had another Pyrenean Mastiff boy "Amigo". First we thought that Amigo won't need a coat, because he had no hotspots, but soon we discovered that is was really much easier to dry Pedro than Amigo after a rainy walk.
Last winter Amigo so soaking wet that we though he won't dry at all. These dogs has two layers in their coats: first there comes a soft undercoat and then comes rougher overcoat. The overcoat is in fact water-resistant, but if the dog gets wet all the way to the undercoat, drying is almost impossible. And Amigo hates blow-drying. That is why I am considering to clothe them in to rainsuits for the muddy autumn weather.

Our rhodeasian ridgebacks Zamu and Viivi are getting cold very easily. They have to wear coats as well in thaw as in freezing cold. Rhodesian ridgebacks doesn’t have undercoat at all and that is why their coat doesn’t keep them warm from the freeze, wind and rain.
That is why I want that my dogs have clothing for every wheather: Raincoats and Wind-breakers for the summer and autumn rains and for cold wheathers the Fleecesuits or Snowsuits. Zamu already has all the mentioned clothing and Viivi will get her own as soon as she has fully grown. For Viivi I already bought a fleecesuit, because she likes to play at the garden for long periods of time.
I am very pleased with Janutex products and I will for sure in the future order Janutex clothing for our dogs.

Italian greyhound Ida and whippet Monday are thankful for Jaana for their lovely, warm winterclothing. Monday has also a black fleecesuit, which has been very frequently used in freezy wheather with the panthercoat. It is very warm and good-looking combination.
The red Snowcoat with the teddylining is also a really good clothing, although we have managed very well with the Fleecesuit-Panther coat combination. In all the coats there are very useful high collars, which have been used as ”hats” also. Jaana has also made for us tubehats and a Raincoat with panther-print.
Ida has managed through the winter with just wearing the Panthersuit with fleecelining in it. The suit has been so comfortable and warm, that we will order the same kind of suit for Monday for the next winter. All the Janutex-products are very good quality, which I warmly recommend!
We got to know Jaana years ago, when we visited a Dog Show. We admired her products and we still do. It feels like we have always been friends. The clothing of our dogs are always admired when taking walks outside, the clothing are also a good amusement for the other people.

Our young poodle-dog Romeo is crazy about playing in the snow. Unfortunately the lion hair cut is not suitable for this kind of action. The snow is clinging in the legs so, that after a moment the legs are full of tiny snow lumps, and walking is not possible anymore.
I bought the Rainsuit from Janutex and it has served us really well during this winter. And I really mean both of us, because the suit fits really well. When wearing the suit, Romeo can move normally (even more quickly than before, because when putting the Rainsuit on, it means a long walk), and he could move normally even the first time he was wearing the Rainsuit. Stylish black Rainsuit fits well to our poodleboy, because he is often wrongly believed to be a girl.
In addition to just looking good the Rainsuit covers well from the mud and from the wind. It also prevents from snow lumps to cling excellently. When wearing the Rainsuit, we don't need anymore to carry the dog to the shower right after taking the walk. The Rainsuit is really durable, even the rough plays with the sister (picture above) hasn't cause any scratches to the suit. The washing of the suit is really easy.

Different dog clothes provides a great help for taking care of the coat. During wintertime also the dog with no undercoat runs happily with wearing her or his warm suit. Our dogs have always wore suits. Practicality, durability and sporty outlook are the most important features for us. The velcro-tape closure in the ancles keeps the pantlegs in position and it also keeps the coat in the legs dry and clean. I warmly recommend!

"Brothers" He-Vi and Rokki
The first time I came to know Janutex products was in 2001 at a Dog Show in Tuusula. From there I right away bought my He-Vi boxer a Doggie towel. At that time I already had reserved a basenji puppy from an autumn litter, so I took more careful look at other products too.
When the time came to get coats to my Rokki-basenji, the choice was Janutex, ofcourse. Basenji is a cold sensitive dog, so Rokki has large collection of clothes (couple of Fleecesuits, a Snowcoat, a Raincoat and a Doggie towel).
The watered Doggie towel has been a necessity in hot summer days for both of the dogs. When wearing watered doggie towel as a cooling method, He-Vi has been able to keep his briskness during the whole walk. He-Vi is such a dog, who wants to make his walks despite of the weather. For Rokki the doggie towel has been a necessity at the hot dog show days. Rokki has slept in the cage wearing the cooling dog towel and he has stayed brisk for the whole show day. When the doggie towel is dry, it has been very handy to put on after washing.
Just wearing the Fleecesuit Rokki has managed till late autumn and with wearing the Fleecesuit-Snowcoat combination he has managed through the most coldest winter weather.
Last autumn I decided to get a Snow Coat with teddy lining for He-Vi too. When wearing the Snow Coat He-Vi's back and hips remains warm despite the cold weather.
I like the Janutex clothes, because these are practical to use and carefully made. In addition to this the clothes are good-looking and there are plenty of colours to choose from. And the most important thing is that the clothes fit well for the dog and even when wearing the suit, dog still can move normally. Especially the suit has gain a lot of positive comments and kind smiles from other people.

Now my six-years-old Bichon Frisé Tytti has used for over a year now Janutex's custom fit Rainsuit. The coat of Bichon is soft and it absorbs all the humidity. Without the suit we couldn't cope with the coat, especially our home is situated in Espoo just by the sea.
When making the clothes Janutex was extremely flexible. If there had to make some changes - they were made - no problems. The suit fits like a glove and when in use, it has given for the bearer lots of positive attention.
My younger bichon girls has wore factory made suits, but the feminine and sophisticated essence of Tytti needs an outfit, which is not only covering, but also "chic". We haven't yet agreed whether the print is a panther or snow leopard. But is obvious that thanks to all the praises, it is really easy to dress the suit, especially when we know for sure, that we are going again and with style.

I had looked for a long time a good-looking and warm snowsuits for my two whippets, who suffers from the cold weather. Finally I chose Animal Print Suit with lining from Janutex and I have never regretted my choice.
The suits feel really pleasant and my both bithces enjoy wearing them. The suits are surprisingly easy to put on and they are really easy to take care of. The suits are flexible and spacious and this makes it easy for my dogs to run and play while exercising outdoors. The attached reflectors are really useful in the dark winter and autumn nights.
During the cold spells in winter my dogs don't have to suffer from the freezing weather anymore, because the suits are really warm and covers my dogs well.

We bought Dog Towels made by Janutex for our boys on summer 2004. We have been using these often after swimming to keep the dogs warm and in agility competitions to keep the dogs cool. For our older dog, Sulo, the towel has been particularly important after swimming. He has Addison's desease and that is why Sulo's body temperature can go lower more easily than the body temperature of a healthy dog. With the help of the towel, we have been able to keep Sulo warm also after swimming trips in autumn.
Our Onni has a little bit curly coat in the back. When we use the towel right after swimming, we have been able to keep the coat more straight than previously.
For us the Dog Towels from Janutex have been really multipurpose and useful. We recommend!
